My work will appear in the "Storytellers" exhibition at Clayton Galleries in Tampa - this is taking place during the NCECA (national ceramics) conference. All of the work in the show is figurative.
The photo at left shows 6 small works hung together. Each is 8 x 6 x 1 inch, and consists of a white clay, handmade tile on which I've drawn an image with underglaze pencil. I then finished each tile with various glaze treatments and finish fired it. Each tile is mounted on a piece of hardboard that has been worked with paint and attached fabric.
