Afferent Zone as shown at Artfields, Lake City, SC

An installation should be different every time it's installed, right?  At Artfields, I was given a standardized configuration and space that was different and smaller than what I had for the original version of this installation.  I had one wall and 15 by 15 feet of open floor space.  Also, some of the original sculpture was no longer available.  In addition, I had to fit everything including pedestals arrangements in the back of a small pickup truck for transport.  I solved the problems by leaving out one painting panel, adding some additional sculpture, and using folding sawhorses and two hollow core doors.  The small greenish pieces that seem to glow are cast glass; all the other sculpture is fired ceramic.
