These are photos from a trip to Ojo Caliente, NM, taken on the evening of August 28, 2011.
There seems to be about 10 minutes in the evening when the far hills can glow gold.
Maybe a bit of a dangerous time for a little hike.
I wouldn't have wanted to miss this double rainbow, though.
In New Mexico, it seems clear that there's always a blue sky right behind all the weather.
